XMU AUDITORIUM

Ampar Tenang, Sepang, Selangor, Malaysia

A 3-storey 70,000sqft reinforced and post-tensioned concrete building consisting of 1 level of basement plant space and 2 levels of 600-people capacity auditorium space as part of the 150 acre university development. The roof above the auditorium spans 27m over a tributary width of 37.6m. Deep 2m precast prestressed (post-tensioned) beam girders were cast on a flat ground before being hoisted into place by 2 no. 400 tonnes cranes.
