EDG-JHB01 DATA CENTRE [110MW]

A sprawling 110MW data centre in the established industrial zone. The 5 block two-storey buildings are designed to be constructed in precast concrete consisting of reinforced double-T slabs, precast prestressed concreted beam, precast concrete columns and walls, and steelwork for speed, efficiency, economy and safety in construction.

Critical to the delivery of the facility is the precast nature of the structural material, enabling off-site mobilisation and fabrication: - 

 • Precast pretensioned spun pile foundations, facilitating clean and safe groundworks 
• Cantilever precast columns enabling independent, stable, unpropped construction 
• Precast reinforced double-T slabs spanning ~15m and precast prestressed beams spanning ~10m, enabling an almost column free rack layout 
• Steel beams, enabling a clean, safe, offsite fabricated and lifted into place owner supplied equipment (generator, power-train-units) support framework
