The Spice Convention Roof Structure, Malaysia

Day breaks on the Spice Convention Roof Structure in Penang, Malaysia.   Completed in 2017, the iconic structure is a 90m clear span multi-curved shape 650 tonne steel roof structure encompassing a convention centre as part of a RM250mil. development. The project entailed intricate prefabricated steel member and connection designs together with numerical structural analysis of rigorous wind tunnel loading pressure data.   On this project we provided full independent structural engineering review for SP Setia Bhd.
